Join us on Remembrance Day as the Royal Canadian Legion Comox Branch #160 hosts a ceremony for all of us to come together to pay tribute to, honour, and remember the sacrifices and contributions of those who proudly and courageously served and continue to serve our country. Lest we forget.
Approximate times:
10:30 a.m. Remembrance Day parade begins
10:45 a.m. Wreath laying at the Comox cenotaph
followed by a flypast (CH-149 Cormorant)
Road Closure
A portion of Comox Avenue will be closed to traffic as follows:
- From Nordin Street to Ellis Street - view Road Closure Map
- From 10am - 12 noon
- There will be emergency vehicle access at all times
- All traffic should plan ahead to use an alternate route
- No parking in the closed area from Friday November 10th at 4 pm through Saturday, November 11th, at 12 noon, signage will be in place.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 160 Comox will be hosting their Annual Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony.
Facility Closures
The Comox Community Centre will be closed on Saturday, November 11, and Town Hall will be closed on Monday, November 13, 2023, in observance of the Remembrance Day statutory holiday.
Waste Collection
There is no change in the waste collection service as the statutory holiday falls on the weekend, and there is no impact on the regular weekday curbside collection schedule.
