Parks & Fields

The Parks Department looks after the town parks, greenways, walkways, trails, beach access and playing fields for which the Town is responsible. View our Parks and Playfields Map (PDF) or Beach Access Map (PDF). 

The Parks department is in the final stages of the Parks and Trails Master Plan that began in spring 2024.

Village Park

This park is adjacent to the Comox Community Centre and hosts a large playing field and across the street is a disc golf course and a playground.

Water – Wise Rock Garden (Xeriscape) at Community Centre

The Parks Department designed and created a rock garden that will flourish on rainfall alone. This garden is located at Comox Community Centre (1855 Noel Avenue). The following is a list of the plants used:
