What is a Secondary Suite?
The Town of Comox defines a secondary suite as a self-contained dwelling unit located within a principal dwelling unit.
Where are Secondary Suites allowed?
Secondary suites are permitted primarily in Low-Density Residential zones, along with several other zones. For more details, see the Town of Comox Zoning Bylaw 2056. Section 6.6 outlines the general provisions for Secondary Suites.
Permitting Process for Secondary Suites
