
On Friday, September 29, the Town of Comox raised the Survivors' Flag ahead of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Survivors’ Flag is an expression of remembrance of the children who did not return from residential schools and honours the Survivors and all the communities affected.

In observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Comox Community Centre will be closed on Saturday, September 30. Town Hall and the Municipal Works Yard will be closed on Monday, October 2, 2023.
*There is still waste collection pick-up for the yellow zone on Monday, October 2. Weekend statutory holidays do not impact the regular weekday curbside schedule. More information here.
