Input needed: Salish Sea Gull project

Salish Sea Gull
Public Notice

Have you seen one of these sea gulls lately? If so, Environment and Climate Change Canada needs your help!

The Town of Comox has been working with Environment and Climate Change Canada's Salish Sea Gull project for many years. New in 2022, they banded adult and juvenile Glaucous-winged Gulls with colour leg bands to investigate their movements, habitat use, and site fidelity through citizen science.

How can you help?
To amplify this important aspect of the gull project, researchers are asking the public to report colour-banded gull sightings.
