Information for Comox residents and businesses about Canada Post Service Disruption

Type
Public Notice
Date

We would like to remind residents and businesses that, while mail services are disrupted, payments to the town are still required by the due date, including utility bills, bylaw tickets, and other charges or bills issued by the Town.

For those doing business with the Town, for processing your payment, please complete the Electronic Transfer Funds application. Due to the volume of applications being received, processing times may be delayed.

For payments to the Town, cash, cheques, or Interac debit payments can be received at the front counter, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is also a drop box for cheque payments, located at the main entrance to Town Hall; please don’t deposit cash in the drop box.

How do I find out my utility account balance?

  • Register for online Access to Property Tax or Utility Accounts – through this service, you can find your account balance and view a copy of your bill.
  • Call us at 250-339-2202 – we can provide you with your account balance and email a copy of the utility bill to you.
  • Visit us at Town Hall, 1809 Beaufort Avenue, during regular operating hours.

The Comox Community Centre has online registration with integrated payment options and you also can pay in person and over the phone with a credit card.
