On National Indigenous Veterans Day (Nov. 8), we reflect on those who lost their lives and those whose lives were forever changed.
Let us always hold them in our hearts and remember their sacrifices and bravery, as well as the service of all who have served and continue to serve.
A Royal Canadian Air Force CC-295 Kingfisher from 442 Transport and Rescue Squadron at 19 Wing Comox will conduct a flypast over Courtenay shortly after 11 a.m. on this day.
