“80 Years Ago: A Comox Time Capsule,” hosted by Comox Archives and Museum Society, shares a snapshot of life in 1945–46 through photos, newspaper excerpts, and local stories. This display highlights a pivotal time in Comox — where the community rallied together after the war, pushed for incorporation, and even endured the island-shaking 1946 earthquake. The exhibit celebrates the people whose determination and community spirit helped shape today’s Comox.

The Museum's exhibit will launch in January 2026 to kick-off the celebrations for the Town's 80th anniversary event. If you have a story or photo to share, please submit using this web form, email the Town or drop it off at Town Hall located at 1809 Beaufort Avenue during regular office hours, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
