The flags at Town Hall have been lowered to half-mast position to honour the passing of a colleague and a friend, Wayne Meyer, Equipment Operator in the Public Works department, who passed away last week.
Wayne dedicated over 12 years of his career to the Town of Comox and was a valuable member of our team. He had a way of making you feel at ease and very welcomed from the first time you met him. It is a devasting loss for his family and for the many friends and colleagues who know him well.
We extend our deepest condolences to Wayne’s family, friends and colleagues. We are grateful for his contributions and impact he made on our community and our close-knit work family.
