The Town of Comox is launching an online portal for development applications, building permits, and property file requests beginning Monday, January 5, 2026.
This new digital platform will allow applicants to:
- Apply for building and development applications online.
- Know where your application stands with real-time updates.
- Receive inspection results within minutes.
- Request property files for a new fee of $50, with file documents and drawings sent digitally as requested.
- Pay fees and charges online.
- Save time with faster, streamlined approvals.
- No in-person visits required.
Applicants can continue to submit paper applications until the end of 2025, with accommodations made beyond that date if necessary. Staff will be available in person to assist applicants with the new e-permitting and property file request process at Town Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., located at 1809 Beaufort Avenue.
