The Communications and Public Engagement Department develops communications strategies and plans in line with Council's strategic priorities and objectives. The department informs and engages residents and businesses about Town programs, services and events using educational and promotional content, graphics and other methods.

Social media guidelines
The purpose of the Town's social media channels is to share information with residents, businesses, and visitors. We hope to be able to provide you with the most recent news stories, photos, and videos from the Town of Comox.  We want to ensure that all our visitors to our channels feel respected and heard. Dialogue is valued and encouraged, but we reserve the right to remove any comments and block the poster who does not respect the guidelines.
