Bring the entire family to the annual fun-filled, FREE, Comox Nautical Days Festival, BC Day Long Weekend, in the Comox Marina Park. There’s something for everyone! Check the weekend schedules to learn more about when these events are happening.
Event Schedule
The craft fair is a major part of the festival. During the three days, 100+ artists showcase their products. Open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Support this fundraiser for the Comox Valley Hospice Society! Head down to the area beside the Sails Stage for a pancake breakfast and listen to some music.
The CNDF beer garden is in the Gazebo, and is hosted by the Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports, a local non-profit society. All net proceeds go towards supporting the host organization’s charity goals. Two pieces of ID are required to enter the beer garden.

The annual Bullhead Derby is a thrilling event for children. The Derby takes place on the Government Wharf on Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 am. Prizes will be given out on the Main Stage at 12:20. It is sponsored by Robbins & Co. Chartered Professional Accountants, Comox Valley Record, and Canadian Tire.

The Traditional Fish Toss at Comox Nautical Days is a fun, family-friendly event in which teams of two compete by tossing a fish in a manner similar to an egg toss or water balloon toss. The event is free, and protective gear and fish are provided.

What better way to celebrate British Columbia’s birthday than to take part in a true BC legacy event! The 54th Annual Nautical Day’s 4 Mile Foot Race, the oldest continually held running race on Vancouver Island, is held annually on BC Day in downtown Comox. Old and young have charged through the streets of Comox since this great event started in 1971.
This short 4-mile (6.4km) distance is geared toward the whole family, offering fun and challenge for all pace levels. It takes you from the Comox Town Hall, along rolling streets, to the finish at the corner of Comox Avenue and Port Augusta Street. Come for the race and hang around after the post-race party to watch the Nautical Days Parade. Race registration online only. - Get ready to roll in style at the Comox Nautical Days Festival parade on Monday, August 4! Join us in the field near the dog park by the old Comox Elementary (2085 Wallace Avenue) to decorate your bikes starting at 9:00 a.m. The parade through downtown Comox kicks off at 10:30 a.m.Remember your helmet, water bottle, and sunscreen. Families are encouraged to participate in the bike parade festivities.

All communities of the Comox Valley support the Comox Nautical Days Parade. Thousands of spectators line Comox Avenue to cheer on parade participants.

40,000 plus spectators line the shores of Comox Valley to be dazzled by this spectacular presentation. Choreographed to a musical soundscape simulcast on the local radio station, Eagle FM 97.3. This festival finale finishes as the sky fills with a plethora of red and white sparkles.
