Rules at voting locations
To ensure fairness and neutrality:
• Campaigning is prohibited within 100 metres of a voting place
• Signs, buttons, and campaign material are not permitted
• Voting is by secret ballot
• Phones and cameras must be turned off
• Election advertising is prohibited on General Voting Day
Election offences can result in fines or penalties and are investigated by the appropriate authorities.
