Request Location Records

REQUEST LOCATION RECORDS FOR UNDERGROUND SERVICE LINES

At least 3 business days before starting any ground disturbing activities, submit a request through BC 1 Call online at bc1c.ca or by calling 1-800-474-6886.

  • BC 1 Call will notify participating underground service providers, who will respond with their available location information (e.g., water, sanitary, storm, gas, telephone, and hydro).
  • The Town's Public Works Department will email you available records showing the approximate locations of Town water, sanitary, and storm service connections at the property line. The Town does not maintain records showing the locations of service lines on private property.

There is no charge for this service.

Please review the requirements listed below to determine if any apply to your project.

Note that ground disturbing activities include, but are not limited to, digging, excavation, trenching, grading, filling, staking, leveling, land clearing, and grubbing.
