Traffic Advisory: road closure on Torrence (Balmoral to Albatross) starting March 2nd, for 6-8 weeks

Starting March 2, 2026, a section of Torrence Rd (Balmoral → Albatross) will be closed 24/7 for 6–8 weeks as part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.

  • Closed to all through traffic - including pedestrians & cyclists
  • Residents in the closed section of Torrence Road will have driveway access maintained
  • Emergency vehicles will always have access
  • Emterra solid waste curbside collections will continue as scheduled
