PLEASE BE AWARE of traffic delays around the McDonald/Guthrie intersection due to a lane closure on McDonald Road in the City of Courtenay and a planned power outage affecting the intersection traffic signals.

  • September 1, 2026
  • 8:30am - 3pm

Traffic will be single-lane alternating on McDonald Road in the City of Courtenay - see red line on map below. Motorists are to follow all traffic control signage and traffic control personnel.

Pedestrians are to follow all traffic control signage and traffic control personnel.

Emergency Vehicles will always have unrestricted access through the site.

Allteck will be conducting work for BC Hydro.
