The Town of Comox will be celebrating Pollinator Week June 22-28, 2026.

Pollinator Week is an internationally recognized annual event to help promote awareness of pollinators and the many challenges they are facing. Pollinators are extremely important for our local agriculture, gardens, and natural areas.

You can help support the pollinators in your area by providing pollinator-friendly habitat; incorporating native plants into your landscape design, providing water stations for bees and butterflies and avoiding the use of pesticides.

Town of Comox Parks staff have created some pollinator habitats to provide support for our native pollinator populations. Check out the flower beds at Marina Park, Mack Laing Court, Lion's Park and Filberg Park.

For more information on how you can help please visit the Pollinator Partnership website and their Pollinator Week page.

Visit the Supporting Pollinator webpage on the Town's website.
