Advance Voter Registration

A municipal election for the Town of Comox will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Before you can vote in the Town of Comox municipal election, you must be registered to vote.

The Town of Comox will be using the Provincial Voter’s List from Elections BC as the Town’s list of registered electors. Registering in advance means you will receive voting information once an election is called and helps make the voting process quicker and easier. If you are registered with Elections BC, you will automatically be placed on the Town Voter’s List.

To register to vote in British Columbia, you must be a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and have lived in B.C. for the past six months. You can register or update your information online, by phone by calling 1-800 661-8683, by mail, or in person through Elections BC by selecting “Register to Vote”.

After August 18, if you are not on the Provincial Voter’s List and want to be listed on the Town Voter’s List, you must submit your application to register with the Town of Comox.
