At Town Hall, the Survivors' Flag is raised for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Survivors’ Flag is an expression of remembrance of the children who did not return from residential schools and honours the Survivors and all the communities affected.
 
We encourage the community to wear orange and participate in the Comox Valley Spirit Walk tomorrow, September 30, at 10 am. The walk starts at Lewis Park, and everyone is welcome.  
 
All other flags at Town Hall will fly at half-mast to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. Flags will be lowered on Tuesday, September 29, and remain at half-mast until business resumes on Thursday, October 1.
