Update November 5 - the pier is now open with no access restrictions.
Following last night’s windstorm, a boat has drifted against the Comox Pier. The Town of Comox has notified the Coast Guard and Transport Canada to address the situation.
In the meantime, the area at the end of the pier has been temporarily cordoned off.
