The Town of Comox requires all dogs over six months of age to be licenced. The 2023 dog licences are now available. Licences are valid from January 1 until December 31and the licence fees are payable regardless of the date within the year which the application is made for a licence.
Please note: A first time application for a licence on or after August 1 is a licensing year will be charged one-half of the fee.
The cost to licence a spayed or neutered dog is $10 , and for unspayed or unneutered dog is $30. Failure to obtain a dog licence may be subject to fines under the Comox Dog Licence and Pound Bylaw.
