The Town of Comox is inviting proposals for the supply, implementation, and support of a Building and Land Use Application Software. The system will replace manual processes with a digital solution to manage development applications, streamline internal workflows, support online submissions and payments, and enhance customer service.
The software must handle various application types such as zoning and OCP amendments, subdivisions, permits, and business licensing. An online portal will enable applicants to submit and track applications, make payments, and access public information. Preference will be given to Canadian-based, cloud-hosted solutions that meet BC legislation and have proven municipal experience.
The contract runs through December 31, 2025, with potential extensions. Key dates include the proposal deadline on July 7, 2025 at 14:00 PDT, and vendor demonstrations the week of July 21, 2025. Full submission requirements are outlined in the RFP.
