Every year, Canadians recognize the first Sunday in May as a day to honour the sacrifices made by thousands of Canadian soldiers during the Battle of the Atlantic.
A local event will be held at Comox Marina Park around 1:15 p.m. by the local commemoration structure in the parking lot.
