By-election Planning Underway for the Town of Comox

With the recent resignation of Councillor Pat McKenna, a one-term Councillor with Comox, Town staff are now undertaking preliminary by-election planning.

By-elections in B.C. are held between general local elections to fill a vacancy on a municipal council or regional district board. With Councillor McKenna’s notice of resignation given effective August 31, 2021, the by-election is anticipated…

Reminder: 2021 Property Taxes and Home Owner Grants Due July 2

The deadline to pay 2021 Property Taxes is July 2, 2021. There are three payment options avaiaible:

1) Pay the balance online through your financial institution;

2) Mail or deliver a cheque;

3) Pay in-person at Town Hall, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm until July 2 (due to COVID-19 protocols, expect wait times).
