COVID19 Summer Camp Programming

We have been working with the relevant authorities in developing a Summer camp program that is safe and fun for your children and our employees. We look forward to offering half day Filberg Park camps, Full Day Community Centre camps and a variety of outdoor and sports camps through our Contract partners.

Please note the following details we have addressed when planning for Summer Camps.

Modified camp capacity to best support limited physical contact
Routine and frequent cleaning of equipment and spaces
A strong focus on hand washing and personal hygiene practices
Strict policy that children or staff who are showing symptoms of a cold, flu or Covid-19 will not be permitted at camp
Activities based around the outdoors, fun and making memories!

Full Day Camp Weekly Themes (Community Centre)

Is your child looking for the best summer ever? With a different theme every week, our Full Day camps will leave your child with memories for years to come.

July 6 - 10 - Nature Nuts! - Come outside and enjoy all the outdoor spaces nearby! The activities this week will be centered around having fun in nature.

July 13 - 17 - Superheroes - Leap into action and take part in a week filled with superhero adventures! Campers will transform into heroes and participate in exciting games and activities.

July 20 - 24 - Let's Go H20! - Get ready to dive into our water themed week. These activities will be anything but dry!

July 27 - 31 - Spy vs Spy - Unleash your inner secret agent and complete fun filled missions and activities. Campers will hone the necessary skills to be successful super spies.

August 4 - 7 - Mad Science - Be prepared to experience the amazing world of science! Campers will enjoy becoming mad scientists as they participate in exciting experiments.

August 10 - 14 - Around the World - Have your passports ready as campers will be jetting off this week! Each day the activities will be centered around the culture of a different country.

August 17 - 21 - Once Upon a Time - Join us for a week of fairy tail fun! This week will focus around a variety of fairy tale stories for campers to enjoy.

August 24 - 28 - Let's get moving! - Jump up and get ready to move your body! Campers can expect to get a kick out of all the physical activities this week.

August 31 - September 4 - Messy Mucky Yucky - Be prepared to play all the messiest, muckiest and yuckiest games you can handle! Campers will get extra creative with all the wacky activities and crafts this week.

Half Day Camp Weekly Themes (Filberg Park)

July 6 - 10 - Beach Week - Let's have fun in the sun! Discover the creatures of the ocean with a different adventure every day. Join us this week to start your sunny summer in the sand!

July 13 - 17 - Science Explorers Week - Take a look at this - the silly scientists are loose! Here is your chance to become Bill Nye the Science Guy in action. Put on your science goggles and get ready for some super slimy experiments!

July 20 - 24 - Nature Week - Come outside and enjoy all the outdoor spaces we have nearby! The activities this week will be centered around having fun in nature!

July 27 - 31 - Ninja Week - Sshhh! Don’t tell anyone, but the ninjas have been seen! Put on your ninja mask and join us complete our ninja imaginative missions and adventures.

August 4 - 7 - Olympics Week - The 2020 Olympics are still happening at this camp. Here is your chance to strive for your dream and become an Olympian. Campers will take part in exciting games and end their week with Olympian gold medals.

August 10 - 14 - Dinosaur Week - Rawr!! The dinosaurs have taken over our camp. Join us this week to explore adventures that include fossil hunting and the land before time.

August 17 - 21 - Superheroes Week - Jump into action and take part in a week filled with superhero adventures! Campers will transform into heroes and participate in exciting games and activities.

August 24 - 28 - H20 Week - Get ready to dive into our water-themed week. These activities will be anything but dry! Don’t forget your bathing suit!

August 31 - September 4 - Bestival Week - Wish you could do all your favourite activities from the summer again? This week will combine favourite activities from all the other weeks into one last fun filled week! Finish off your summer with the best kind of festival, a bestival!
